Week 1: Individual Technical Training for Soccer Success | JR7 SOCCER

Welcome to Week 1 of Your Individual Technical Training! ⚽️

Are you ready to take your soccer skills to the next level? This week, we’re diving into a step-by-step journey to master control, passing, and dribbling with techniques designed to help you become a more complete player. Each phase of this workout builds on the last, pushing you toward peak performance. Here’s what you can expect this week:

PHASE 1 - INITIATE

This phase focuses on dynamic movement to warm up your body and build foundational mobility.

  1. Two Cones, 10 Yards Apart

    • Perform various movements like jogs, shuffles, and carioca to activate your legs and core.
  2. Dynamic Stretches

    • These stretches (hamstring, knee pulls, and calf pumps) increase flexibility and prepare your muscles for intense activity.
  3. Line Hops

    • This exercise sharpens footwork with hops in different directions, improving agility and stability.

PHASE 2 - IGNITE

Building on the basics, Ignite adds intensity with focused technical drills and active rest for continuous improvement.

  1. Technical Work

    • Weave through cones or dribble in a box. Precision is critical, and these drills ensure you stay in control.
  2. Active Rest

    • Practice freestyle juggling to maintain rhythm while catching your breath.
  3. Toe Taps

    • Enhance touch with exercises like sideswipes and Brazilian toe taps.
  4. Push-Ups

    • Strengthen your upper body, choosing reps that match your fitness level.
  5. Dynamic Stretch

    • Finish with stretches to keep your muscles engaged and ready for more.

PHASE 3 - IMPACT

This circuit pushes your skills and endurance. It combines technical work with strength exercises for a lasting impact on your game.

  1. Juggling

    • Work on balance and control with two-touch or one-bounce juggling.
  2. Wall Ball

    • Practice passing accuracy and timing with alternating inside feet.
  3. Technical Pullbacks

    • Perform R9 pullbacks to build control and footwork consistency.
  4. Freestyle Juggling

    • Freestyle to add your unique touch to the workout!
  5. 1 v 1 Moves

    • Master moves like the Feint Outside Push in a Y-pattern or 5x5 box for real-game agility.
